Real estate transactions can be complicated and always involve legal contacts so you really should use a Licensed Realtor to guide you. There are many Realtors in the area to choose from so what sets me apart from the rest?

In addition to being licensed in the State of Michigan as a Real Estate Agent, I am a Federal Enrolled Agent (EA) Tax Accountant. Besides answering your questions about purchasing or selling real estate, I can address your concerns of how a transaction might affect your tax rate. Furthermore, as a retired Federal Employee, I am accustomed to the additional procedures and red tape affiliated with government agencies such as HUD. Lastly, as in my former career as a City Letter Carrier and my now second careers as a Tax Professional and Realtor, I am honored to be obligated to uphold a higher standard of due diligence, ethical behavior, integrity, and professionalism including recognizing the “sanctity” of documents containing personal information. As I was entrusted for almost 30 years to deliver your mail, I still hold my client’s confidentiality as an essential component to my fiduciary responsibility as your agent.

As a Realtor I had options when it came to choosing a brokerage to work under. I chose BON Realty because the Broker and the other Agents have similar high standards which I find essential to providing an environment for healthy growth.

In closing, I encourage you to “shop around” to find an agent that has both the expertise and compassion to represent you fairly- I think you’ll like the family at BON Realty best.

Also, because I feel so strongly that home ownership and education are two important components of making a community prosper, for every contract I sign in 2015 that results in a closing, I will donate 10% of my commission to the local school district of the property sold or purchased.
